POSITION TITLE:  VP of Sales – Downstream

COMPENSATION:  Competitivesalary DOE + bonus

SUMMARY: Develops business opportunities to increase revenues and profits through penetrating all levels Maintains current accounts and cultivates new opportunities for the sale of products and services.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Develop and refine the company’s business development strategy, monitor market trends, and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Source, evaluate, and prioritize potential strategic opportunities, including acquisitions, divestitures and new product/service ventures
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with clients, vendors and other stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Lead efforts to assess the technical, financial and operational aspects of potential deals and develop financial models for valuation
  • Manage the end-to-end process of deal execution, including term sheet negotiation and contract finalization
  • Prepare proposals and necessary documentation for requesting bids, including feasibility studies for new business
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align messaging, generate leads, and achieve defined sales and margin targets
  • Lead a high-performing business development team and external advisors to achieve business objectives


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of outside B2B sales experience
  • Fuel or lubricant sales experience
  • Strong understanding of industrial, manufacturing, or energy industries
  • Self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
