POSITION TITLE: Sales Manager

SUMMARY: Lead and develop sales team, while maintaining the company vision, to achieve growth. Responsible for individual performance of sales team. This role is a โPlayer/Coachโ who improves outcomes and elevates performance of the team. This person will be a skilled sales person who can show the team what โgreatโ selling looks like as well as develop/elevate a sales team to force multiply his/her success. Support the sales activities of the organization by performing the following duties.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience selling value based industrial products and services ideally with an engineered component.
- Develop and implement advanced sales strategies and processes. Setting targets and objectives for sales team.
- Sit in and participate in key customer meetings to ensure success.
- Manage the day to day activity of the sales team including prioritization of accounts and pipeline development.
- Analyzing market pricing and determining a fair and reasonable service selling price that is competitive.
- Meet or exceed budgeted revenue in assigned or target client accounts including P&L Management
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training the sales team. Planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Collaborate with the rest of the executive team to develop, implement, and execute strategy.
- Travel to develop sales team and reach sales goals – could be up to 50% of the time
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of experience in sales team management
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, construction management or related area or equivalent.
- Existing network and strong relationships with diverse client bases in petrochemical, refining and power industries.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must have a successful track record of exceeding sales goals and quotas.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and possess strong organizational skills.
- Strong personal initiative and drive for results.
- Ability to think strategically based on knowledge of client‘s business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
- Financial and business savvy, strong forecasting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships with all levels of client organizations from executive to field level.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of the products and services being sold, and the ability to analyze and interpret data.
