Sales Manager

POSITION: Sales Manager
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary + DOE

LOCATION: West of the Mississippi
SUMMARY: Responsible for the daily direction, coaching, and accountability of sales personnel within their assigned territory.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, coach, and motivate sales representatives to achieve and exceed individual and regional revenue targets
- Establish clear sales goals, activity metrics, and accountability standards for the regional sales team
- Conduct regular one-on-one and team performance reviews, providing guidance and corrective action where needed
- Monitor and track sales pipeline activity, conversion rates, and opportunity progression using CRM tools
- Drive growth in the refining, petrochemical, and power generation sectors, expanding ISS’s presence and market share
- Develop strong relationships with general contractors to increase bid opportunities and project wins
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region through proactive prospecting and market intelligence
- Support key account planning and assist sales representatives with major account strategies and negotiations
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of proven sales experience in the industrial services or related sectors, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of refining, petrochemical, and power generation markets, plus experience selling to general contractors
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in competitive markets
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and strong analytical skills
- Ability to lead, coach, and hold sales teams accountable for results
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field preferred
