Rehab Technician / Rehab Tech – Full Time Hourly


Beautiful Skilled Nursing/Outpatient Facility in Ripley, Ohio

BRR is looking for a Full Time Rehab Tech / CNA to work with our therapy team at our skilled nursing/outpatient facility in Ripley, Ohio.




Broad River Rehab is a rapidly growing therapy company that partners with providers across all settings including assisted/ independent and skilled nursing facilities to provide premier physical, occupational and speech therapy services.





JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Under the direction of the licensed therapists, optimize abilities and skills of patients in facilities:


 – Transport and move patients as directed.


 – Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for treatments. Assist / facilitate telehealth visits.


 – Assist licensed personnel in patient care.


 – Maintain awareness of change in patient population, programs, and patient conditions and inform licensed personnel.




Under the direction of the licensed therapists, build a strong rehabilitative care practice within each facility:


– Establish and maintain strong relationships with professional staff and good public relations with patients and families.


– Maintain confidentiality of company, patient and client information.


– Adhere to the appropriate dress code for assigned facility and work environment.


– Adhere to the requirements of the patient’s Bill of Rights.


– Administrative Skills.


– Ensure that adequate office supplies and supplies for treatments are maintained.


– Complete appropriate forms and records, as directed, make copies, and obtain necessary signatures.


– Ensure that written and oral communications are directed to appropriate personnel.


– Follow established protected health information (HIPPA) policies to prevent privacy or security breaches. If breach identified, report to Broad River Rehab Management.


COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:


Strong communication, interpersonal ability. Ability to maximize contribution as a team.


Bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, transferring, lifting 40 or more pounds, and assisting adults/children weighing 200 pounds or more with possible use of mechanical devices where applicable.


Must be able to proficiently type a minimum of 40 words per minute.





CREDENTIALS:


Minimum High School education or equivalent.


Minimum one-year healthcare experience.
