Pool Construction and Remodeling

IMMEDIATE OPENING: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Construction and Remodeling Specialist to join our remodel division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, particularly within the pool industry. This role involves a variety of tasks, including tile laying, small concrete jobs, coping and paver work, digging ditches, running plumbing, and other related duties. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.



Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:



Tile Laying: Measure, cut, and install tiles for pool surfaces, ensuring precision and high-quality finishes.

Concrete Work: Mix and pour small concrete jobs, including pool decks, coping, and other structural elements.

Coping and Paver Installation: Install and repair coping stones and pavers around pools, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.

Excavation: Dig ditches and trenches as required for plumbing and other installations.

Plumbing: Run and install plumbing lines, ensuring all connections are secure and meet safety standards.

General Construction: Assist with various construction tasks, including framing, rebar installation, and other structural work.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing pool structures and systems.

Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets company standards and customer expectations.

Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in construction, with specific experience in the pool industry preferred.

Skills: Proficiency in tile laying, concrete work, coping/paver installation, plumbing, and general construction.

Tools: Ability to operate standard construction tools and equipment.

Physical Stamina: Capability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and quality workmanship.

Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to meet deadlines.

Communication: Good communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.



Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certifications in construction or pool maintenance are a plus.
