Job Description/Requirements

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION

The primary purpose of your job position as a Manager of Facility Services is to coordinate information and recordkeeping among the Administrator and other members of the Facility Services team; and insure that Facility Services associates adhere to their job descriptions in a timely and efficient manner at all times in accordance with all policies and procedures, ethical statement and resident rights, and subject to the employee handbook.

REQUIREMENTS

&#8226 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or G.E.D. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have two years supervisory experience in building operations including but not limited to heating, electrical, HVAC, and construction/building knowledge. Knowledge of building and safety codes. Basic computer skills required.

&#8226 LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

&#8226 REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

&#8226 LICENSE: Must maintain a current and valid Ohio driver’s license.

&#8226 OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility. Must be knowledgeable of safe maintenance practices, procedures, and guidelines.
