I&E Meter Prover ? Eagle Ford / Refining

COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client is seeking an experienced I&E Meter Prover specializing in custody-transfer meter proving to support upstream and refining operations. This role is critical to ensure accurate measurement, regulatory compliance, and revenue integrity across field and refinery environments.

POSITION TITLE: I&E Meter Prover – Eagle Ford / Refining

SUMMARY: The ideal candidate brings hands-on meter proving expertise, strong I&E fundamentals, and direct experience supporting operations in the refining markets

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform custody-transfer meter proving on crude, refined products, and/or gas systems
• Calibrate, verify, and troubleshoot flow meters, transmitters, and analyzers
• Execute proving using ball, pipe, compact, or master meter systems
• Identify and resolve measurement discrepancies impacting production and revenue
• Ensure compliance with API, AGA, ISO, and internal measurement standards
• Prepare accurate proving documentation and audit-ready reports
• Coordinate with operations, accounting, inspectors, and third parties
• Support both field-based (Eagle Ford) and refinery/terminal environments

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• I&E background with direct meter proving experience
• Proven experience with custody-transfer measurement systems
• Strong understanding of crude, condensate, refined products, or gas measurement
• Hands-on experience in Eagle Ford field operations and/or refining environments
• Ability to work independently and defend measurement results
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Experience supporting refinery terminals or large custody-transfer points
• Familiarity with regulatory audits and dispute resolution
• Safety-conscious mindset in high-risk operating environments
