Job Title: Front-End Developer

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid/On-site)

Base Compensation: $185,000 – $200,000 per year

Signing Bonus: $20,000

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We’re looking for a Front-End Developer to join our team in San Francisco. In this role, you’ll work closely with design, product, and engineering teams to build clean, efficient, and scalable front-end systems. Your work will shape the user experience for thousands (or millions) of users and contribute directly to our product’s performance and usability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React or similar frameworks

  • Convert high-fidelity designs into performant, pixel-perfect code

  • Collaborate with product managers and backend engineers to implement end-to-end features

  • Write reusable components and advocate for front-end best practices and code consistency

  • Optimize application performance and ensure accessibility compliance

  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and mentoring activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience building front-end applications

  • Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

  • Proficient in React, Redux, and related tooling (Webpack, Babel, ESLint)

  • Experience with REST APIs, version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows

  • Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and web performance optimization

  • Strong collaboration skills and attention to detail
