Fabricator & Installer (at New Project)

Full-time: $18-35/hr (commensurate to experience from entry-level to experienced)

From design assist, technical problem-solving, and prototyping through to project management, fabrication, and installation, our creatives and technical specialists develop innovative solutions for even the most complex projects. Our backgrounds in art, architecture, and engineering with a shared passion for experimenting with new materials and methodologies inform our process.

Summary of Position
This person is responsible for the efficient execution of fabrication and installation of artwork, furniture, exhibit and commercial displays, and custom fabrication of unique objects.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining an organized a safe work environment
  • Attention to detail and quality is required
  • Knowledge and use of common hand tools and fabrication equipment, such as table saw, planer, joiner, sander, and drill press
  • Be able to follow directions from Project Leads and Managers
  • Ability to learn to communicate clearly about the details of the project via project management software
  • Be able to read and work from shop drawings
  • Move & Lift 60 lbs
  • Must be able to work during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and have the ability to work overtime on short notice, including weekends as required
  • Must be able to stay focused on independent tasks and communicate as a part of a larger team
