Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Director of Business Development to grow our partnership base within the post-acute care sector. This role focuses and thrives on building and nurturing long-term relationships with post-acute healthcare facilities to develop true partnerships and expand our business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a passion for healthcare, and a proven track record in sales and relationship management within the post-acute care landscape.

Key Responsibilities

The Director of Business Development is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the post-acute care market. This role focuses on selling contract therapy services and building trusted relationships with facility administrators, owners, regional operators, and healthcare executives.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to establish and grow partnerships within the post-acute care sector.
  • Identify and engage potential partners, understanding their needs and aligning them with our solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services to partners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Achieve and exceed business development targets and key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in healthcare sales, with a strong understanding of the post-acute care landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Skill to develop and manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation through contract execution.
  • Capability to present and position contract therapy solutions tailored to each facility’s clinical, operational, and financial needs.
  • Capacity to collaborate with operations and clinical leadership to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Expertise to represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling contract therapy, MDS services, or related healthcare solutions!
  • Existing network and relationships within healthcare or post-acute care sector, preferably Skilled Nursing Facilities, regional chains, or ownership groups
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance and regulations
  • Strong understanding of SNF operations, therapy contracts, and post-acute reimbursement
  • Proven ability to close deals and build long-term client relationships.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
