Primary Running Areas
&#8226 Eastern half of the U.S.
&#8226 East of I-35

Average Miles Per Week
&#8226 Average 2,500+ miles per week
&#8226 Expectation: 550+ miles per day

Pay Scale
&#8226 $0.60 CPM – all miles paid (empty + loaded) on W-2
&#8226 Empty miles from last delivery to home are not paid

Example:
2,500 miles/week × $0.60 CPM = $1,500 weekly (from CPM alone)

Home Time / Days Out
&#8226 2 weeks out → 2 days home

Additional Pay
Layover / Breakdown Pay:
&#8226 $200 per day

Dock Detention:
&#8226 $25/hour after 2 hours (up to $200 max)

Multi-Stop Pay:
&#8226 $35 per extra stop

&#8226 No NYC

Transmission Type: Automatics

Drug Test: Urine

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 months of OTR driving experience
  • Moving Violations: 
    No more than 2 in the last 12 months in a CMV
  • DUI/DWI’s: must be outside of 7 years

  • SAP Drivers
    • All follow-up and testing plans must be FULLY COMPLETED before submitting a candidate

    • Neuropulse must be completed in order to consider PSP violation disqualification

    • More than 3 Unsafe violations on PSP, must be approved by VP of Safety

    • A SAP driver CANNOT do their return to duty testing with UC Group. They must have done this already.

    • If the Driver has completed most of the process and still has to do periodic drug testing, they will not qualify until that is complete

      *All candidate’s eligibility is subject to review by management and safety
