Experience and Courses

  1. A valid license (A&P), from an institute recognized by the International Aviation Organization in the field of transport aircraft maintenance
  2. 5 years of practical experience in the field of maintaining transport C-130 aircraft.
  3. Qualified to carry out scheduling and programming of preventive and periodic maintenance work.
  4. Qualified to reduce C-130 aircraft system malfunctions and determine the disciplines needed to repair faults, follow-up on repair and its quality.
  5. Qualified to follow up the completion of work related to maintenance groups and equip the aircraft according to the tasks scheduled for their implementation.
  6. Qualified to implement and apply the safety qualifications of industrial facilities, aviation yards, hangars, and ground protective safety.
  7. Proficiency in the English language spoken and written.
  8. Qualified to carry out the work described in the job description in the field of specialization as stated in the air force manual No 105-30B.
  9. Qualified to apply the instructions of the air force manuals and technical books.
  10. Qualified to know the basics of the electrical, fluid systems and aircraft mechanics.
  11. Qualified for malfunction investigationand repair the malfunction and follow up the repair.
  12. Qualified to train Saudi technicians using the air force manual 105-8 in his field of specialization, with a focus on the work described in the air force manual 105-30B.

Tasks and Duties

  1. Training Saudi Technicians in his seventh technical specialization, so that the trainee after being qualified, will be able to carry out the work described in the job description
  2. Able to prepare the aircraft as required according to maintenance work.
  3. Able to prepare the aircraft for inspection maintenance.
  4. Able to complete time inspection checks as specified by work cards.
  5. Able to analyze fault indicators, determine the causes of recurrence of them and perform correction and carry out the repair including changing the landing gear.
  6. Able to determine the material and spare parts needed to benefit from periodic maintenance work.
  7. Able to complete initial and final time inspections for engine operation.
  8. Conduct other works as directed and return the aircraft to service.
  9. Capable of lifting the aircraft off the ground and operating the landing system to determine any malfunction and repair, and follow up with squadron officials in the elimination of the causes.
  10. Qualified to apply Air Force manuals, technical books (TOs), technical bulletins, and manufacturer’s instructions.

As there is no compound in Jeddah, GDC provides SR-3000/- per month with the salary.

GDC has no guidelines, whether employee pay to housing or apartment SR-1000 or more, however, when leaving GDC on an exit visa, then need to provide Clearance Certificate from Real Estate or Owner of the house, all bills such as electricity and rent is paid, NOTHING PENDING.

Processing Cost

Applicant should pay processing cost such as, medical, documents attestation, police report or any item related to the mobilization process and keep the receipt with him.  The GDC will reimburse such cost upon his arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reporting for work.

When visa is endorsed, GDC will send confirmed eticket and will arrange airport pickup and bring next day in the office for further processing and orientation.
