Business Development Manager

POSITION TITLE: Business Development
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary DOE + bonus

LOCATION: Gulf Coast Region
SUMMARY: The Outside Sales / Business Development Representative drives new business and manages existing accounts within a Gulf Coast territory through field-based relationship building and consistent follow-up.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Travel throughout the territory for face-to-face meetings and site visits
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial and energy facilities
- Present company capabilities and coordinate internal resources as needed
- Manage opportunities through extended sales cycles with consistent follow-up
- Meet or exceed sales and business development targets
- Maintain accurate records of leads, accounts, and activity within CRM systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to support sales and marketing initiatives
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions
- Assist with customer bidding processes
- Negotiate with customers to close new business
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sales or business development experience within industrial services, energy, construction, maintenance, or related industries
- Existing industry relationships preferred but not required
- General understanding of industrial or oil & gas environments
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field preferred
- Strong consultative selling, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Organized, self-directed, and effective at managing time in primarily a field-based role
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
