Bilingual Administrative Assistant
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations within a staffing agency environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting where priorities can change quickly. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a professional, customer-service-focused attitude when working with applicants, employees, and internal staff. Prior experience supporting recruiting, payroll, and high-volume administrative tasks is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional manner
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including scheduling interviews, onboarding paperwork, and communication with candidates
- Support payroll processing, timekeeping, and employee records
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, and office schedules
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and paper files
- Assist management with special projects and daily operational needs
- Communicate effectively with staff, applicants, and external contacts
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative assistant or office support experience
- Prior experience with telephone systems, recruiting, and payroll
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with basic office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets)
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Spanish-speaking is a must!
