POSITION TITLE: Director of Talent Management & Acquisition
COMPENSATION: Competitive base salary DOE

SUMMARY: The Director of Talent Management & Acquisition is responsible for managing the talent acquisition function providing leadership around an organizational culture of performance, health and safety and team member engagement.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partnering with Operations, this positon will lead the implementation of workforce development strategies to ensure alignment with our business needs.
Provide support and technical assistance to ensure proper administration and compliance of HR policies, programs, and laws.
Engage and develop the HR team and other departments to take advantage of synergies and operational excellence strategies improving processes and outcomes.
Manage recruitment, employee relations, staffing, education and development to ensure collaboration and alignment of people resources within the company.
Act as a role model to actively promote wellness, health and safety and eliminating at risk behaviors in and outside of the workplace.
Serve as the local EEO resource for issues handling issues without delay, and coaching others in conducting in depth investigations and in recommending proper actions to take to ensure a professional work environment at all times.
Serve as an advisor to the management team in administering regional performance and compensation program, including recognitions, promotions, demotions, reclassifications and pay adjustments.
Working with the Director of Education to coordinate the delivery of educational programs in various areas, oversee new hire orientation and develop a multi-skilled workforce.
Oversee all craft and equipment related certification programs ensuring consistency and meeting our standards of safety & quality.
Supervise a team of 10 to 15 human resources professionals
Interface with corporate management, business unit leaders, human resources teams, employee groups, external government agencies, etc.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years'' of Human Resources experience with progressive responsibilities and achievements
Supervisory experience with extensive knowledge of employment law and general human resources functions.
Proven track record of success in skilled craft/skilled trade talent acquisition within the industrial construction or related specialty services
Ability to think strategically, inspire, motivate, educate and empower others in a positive and productive team environment.
Ability to communicate and influence team members at all levels and with diverse viewpoints, cultures and backgrounds.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and diplomacy when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
Able to work in a team environment - remaining flexible, supportive and adaptive to changes in direction, priorities and job duties.
Demonstrates critical thinking skills, decision-making, strategic planning and problem solving skills with a track record for accepting responsibility and demonstrating sound judgment.
Success in change management efforts within complex and challenging environment
MBA, PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
Bachelor''s degree in Business required.
