COMPANY OVERVIEW:  A leading general contractor who provides construction, maintenance and plant services to a variety of industrial clients.  

POSITION TITLE: Business Development Manager - Construction

COMPENSATION: Competitive base salary DOE

LOCATION: Baton Rouge, LA

SUMMARY: The Construction Business Development Manager will be responsible for the acquisition of new clients, and the establishment of productive and profitable relationships with external organizations. Key responsibilities of this role include developing annual sales plans to meet corporate goals, managing an existing database of clients and sourcing new clients through various methods.

Must have impeccable oral and written communication skills
High degree of business acumen and a results focused way of working
Computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe products
Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and service existing accounts
Highly motivated with a strong sense of accountability
Capability to follow through and deliver on overlapping requirements
Ability to facilitate meetings
Present proposals to clients

Required Skills:  
Minimum of 5 years'' experience in a Business Development focused role within the refinery sectors with an emphasis on Maintenance.
Experience with Coessential or related Client Relationship Management system preferred.
Completing EOIs, RFIs and RFPs upon client request.
Bachelor''s Degree strongly preferred.
