Their current phase of global expansion strategy incorporates the United States market. Our client has asked us to recruit a high-caliber sales professional to work for them on a long-term contract basis to spearhead this latest endeavor. Our client will be applying the successful business model originally developed across Europe (in more than 25 countries), where they function in close geographical proximity to customers and provide rapid and efficient support.
The primary function of the Regional Sales Manager, PA/NJ/NY Territory, is the development of new business opportunities for our client''s products - there will be no account management/growth dimension to the role at this embryonic stage; a heavy reliance on the ability to source, engage and convert new clients is thus imperative. Long-term sustainable organic growth will be necessary at subsequent phases in the commercial development of the territory. The ideal candidate will be a consultative sales practitioner with extensive B2B sales experience within a highly technical environment, possessing exceptional presentation/communication attributes and commercial acumen. The position will report directly to the Export Sales Director. The candidate can live anywhere in the region and will work from a home office.
