COMPANY OVERVIEW: A leading mechanical services and specialty services company providing services to the refining and petrochemical industry
POSITION TITLE: President
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary + bonus + company vehicle

SUMMARY: The President is tasked with providing leadership for the company by working with the owner in developing and implementing a strategic plan to advance the company''s mission and objectives, promoting revenue, profitability and growth. They are responsible for presiding over the company to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. The President has the responsibility for management of the day-to-day operations, and s/he has the authority to carry out these responsibilities in accordance with the direction and policies established in collaboration with the owner. The President will create a culture of accountability and ensure goals are met and KPI''s are delivered.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Act as a visionary and provide leadership for the company.
•
Develop and implement a strategic plan to advance the company''s mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.
•
Oversee the complete operation of the company ensuring it operates and goals are met based on the direction established in the strategic plan.
•
Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the company.
•
Approve company operational procedures, policies, and standards.
•
Ensure company profitability, review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
•
Evaluate performance of employees for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives.
•
Maintain compliance of all legal and regulatory documents and monitors compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
•
Create and maintain a culture that engages employees and fosters retention
•
Ability to attract, develop and retain top talent.
•
Assures program quality and organizational stability through development and implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures, and regular evaluation
•
Creates a culture of accountability establishing KPI''s and managing to those KPI''s and evaluates performance of staff on a consistent regular schedule.
•
Acts as the face of the company in the general business community, at industry associations'' committee meetings and at formal functions.
•
Work closely with the owner and other executives to assess the direction of the company and ensure financial metrics are being met through monthly reporting.
Required Skills:
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
•
Ten years of experience in a leadership role for a large division or company.
•
Mechanical services and/or specialty services experience in the refining and petrochemical industries a must
•
Strong contacts within the refining and petrochemical industries a must
•
Experience as an entrepreneur a plus
•
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire people to action through their influence. Consistently displays integrity, models behavior, develops people, and builds teams. This individual deals effectively with demanding situations and designs and implements interventions.
•
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
•
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
•
Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures.
•
Experience in formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
•
Financial and operation knowledge, as well as knowledge of regulations, policy and procedures that affect the company.
•
Good presentation skills
•
Good communications skills, professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with customers and staff at all levels and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse industry. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.
•
Bachelor''s degree required, MBA preferred
