POSITION TITLE:  Senior Project Manager

COMPENSATION:   DOE + Bonus

LOCATION: Chicago, IL

SUMMARY: The Senior Project Manager will help deepen our capabilities and experience on the industrial side of our business is a key component of our ambitious growth plan. The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for estimating, securing and executing mechanical insulation projects across Chicagoland and surrounding states while fostering relationships with industrial contractors and owners. They will also be responsible for leveraging “tribal knowledge” generated by the company''s decades of industrial experience and developing the next generation of industrial talent. In addition, the Sr. Project Manager will provide leadership to our team members in the office and field and serve as an extension of our brand to our clients and to the industry.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct and manage project development from inception to closeout (“cradle to grave”).
• Define scope, timeline and goals for each project assigned and estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their work.
• Review estimates completed by other team members and provide Project Executive oversight on industrial projects as needed.
• Attend industry events/conferences and pursue continued learning.
• Collaborate across the family of companies to help grow our overall business.

  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in mechanical insulation contracting.
• B.S. in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or related degree (or equivalent work experience).
• Successful track record of estimating and managing mechanical insulation projects in the industrial sector (Power, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, etc.) in excess of $5 million with 50+ craft personnel.
