POSITION TITLE: Market Staffer/Recruiter

COMPENSATION: Competitive Salary Based on Experience

SUMMARY: The successful candidate will support staffing needs for the client primarily in the Southern New England market to ensure that we manage, recruit, retain and grow the best workforce.




Required Skills:  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work together with the Project Management Team on a daily basis to support the staffing needs of the market
  • Coordinating job assignments with new and existing team members
  • Work in partnership with the regional recruiting team to communicate the craft needs
  • Maintain relationships with the training department to communicate training opportunities to team members and supervisors
  • Foster a welcoming environment among our team that supports open dialogue, mutual respect, fair treatment and is free from discrimination and harassment
  • Track and update staffing moves and predictions, ensuring team member complies with jobsite requirements (drug screens, required background checks, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • The preferred candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and construction trades is required
  • Excellent customer service skills with the demonstrated ability to identify and resolve employment/recruitment issues in partnership with managers is a must
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - specifically Excel and capable of quickly learning internal software
  • Portray a positive, professional image to the public, our client and our team members
  • Willing to travel when needed and work flexible hours, possible nights and weekends
