Job Summary:

Are you a talented Staffing Coordinator (SC) ready to play an integral role in managing recruiting activities and building relationships? Do you thrive off of the prospect of providing candidate and clients with their first impression of a company? If so, you could be the next member of a dynamic team of recruiters in our fast-paced office environment at Hoosier.

As an organization guru who works effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, you''ll use your great communication skills and adaptability to take on the challenge of helping to build a great organization. You''ll also get to work autonomously and with minimal supervision. You will have the ability to prospect future clients and earn commission on top of your regular salary once you learn the ropes. Pay will increase based on performance over the first couple months.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new sources for candidates using your knowledge of tools, systems, and industry directories.
  • Go to client locations and assist Hoosier employees on site.
  • Perform initial candidate screening interview, candidate testing/assessments, background checks, and reference checks.
  • Provide support to recruiters by performing internet research functions, submitting job postings, and monitoring job posting sites.
  • Act as a single point-of-contact to candidates regarding interview schedules; also provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone or email.
  • Track recruiting activities and provide candidate status in weekly report to management team.
  • Oversee I-9 audit process.
  • Communicate with candidates and clients to coordinate start dates.
  • File and audit personnel files.
  • Make sales calls for potential client prospects and earn extra commission if you bring in new business!

Job Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred:

  • Ability to handle highly confidential information
  • Service-oriented team player who has a positive attitude and is flexible, responsive, proactive, and self-motivated
  • Someone looking for a career in staffing that wants to grow with the organization
  • Ability to work happily and professionally in a fast-paced and complex organization

Required:

  • 1+ years of Recruiting Coordinator or HR experience in light industrial or professional direct hire
  • Excellent PC skills including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with ATS System
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
