COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client is an international presence by providing complete door-to-door services up to and including final erection of heavy and extra-heavy project components world-wide, including the industry of modularized items.

POSITION:  Project Manager

COMPENSATION:  Competitive salary + DOE

LOCATION:  Houston, Texas

SUMMARY: Prepare sites prior to the commencement of construction work (to set out the site and organize facilities), to plan projects and ensure that they meet agreed specifications, budgets, and timescales and to oversee building work.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaising with clients and reporting progress, professional staff (such as architects and surveyors) and the public
  • Supervising contracted staff
  • Meeting subcontractors
  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings
  • Maintaining quality control procedures
  • Motivating the workforce
  • Problem solving


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-10 years’ experience working in the heavy haul / heavy lift and specialty rigging industry providing high-capacity lifting equipment, SPMT transport solutions, while often with marine vessel involvement.
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex projects that are strategic in nature and national in scope.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
