Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

Continuum Therapy Partners is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team at Martha Franks Retirement Community in Laurens, South Carolina. This full-time opportunity allows you to provide speech therapy services for adult and geriatric residents while working in a supportive senior living community focused on improving communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall quality of life.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you’ll collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that help residents achieve their highest level of function.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, assess, and treat speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans based on resident goals.
  • Perform dysphagia evaluations and provide evidence-based swallowing interventions.
  • Deliver cognitive-communication, speech, language, and voice therapy services.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, federal, and company documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Experience in senior living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, post-acute care, or long-term care is preferred but not required.
  • New graduate Speech-Language Pathologists are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication, clinical, and organizational skills.
