Automotive Parts Inspection
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Testing: Conduct visual and physical inspections of parts, including brake pads, suspension components, engine parts, and electrical systems.
- Precision Measurement: Use gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify tolerances and specifications.
- Documentation: Accurately record inspection results, nonconformances, and defects in quality systems or logs.
- Quality Control: Identify, segregate, and report defective parts to supervisors.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure components meet environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work with production teams to identify root causes of defects and support corrective actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Generally 2-3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or quality control.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of automotive parts, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Tools Proficiency: Skilled in using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometer, gauges).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to detect minor defects, damages, or discrepancies.
- Education:
