Authorization Specialist / Rehab Technician
Location: Chisholm, MN (On-Site)- Heritage Manor

About the Role

Continuum Therapy Partners is hiring an Authorization Specialist / Rehab Technician to support therapy services in a skilled nursing setting. This position combines insurance authorization responsibilities with hands-on rehab support to ensure efficient operations and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Authorization:

• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage
• Obtain and track prior authorizations for PT, OT, and Speech Therapy
• Communicate with payors regarding approvals, denials, and updates
• Monitor authorization timelines and request extensions as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance

Rehab Support:

• Assist therapists with patient preparation and treatment setup
• Transport patients to and from therapy sessions
• Support and assist with telehealth therapy sessions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas
• Assist with clerical and documentation tasks

Qualifications

• 2+ years of insurance verification or authorization experience (preferred)
• Experience in healthcare, rehab, or skilled nursing (preferred)
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work on-site in Chisholm, MN
