SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated New Tower Regional Sales Representative to join our team and drive growth in new field-erected cooling tower projects. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms to secure inclusion on bid opportunities for new cooling tower installations.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively engage with EPC firms and end-users in the power generation, refining, petrochemical processing, steel, and natural gas markets to identify upcoming new tower projects requiring cooling towers.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers to ensure is included on bid lists and receives RFQs for new field-erected cooling tower opportunities.
- Qualify project opportunities, gather technical and commercial requirements, and collaborate closely with internal applications engineers and estimators to prepare accurate, competitive bids.
- Submit proposals/bids on time and present them effectively to clients when needed.
- Follow up on submitted bids, negotiate terms, address client questions, and work to close and win projects.
- Track pipeline opportunities, maintain accurate records in CRM (or equivalent tools), and provide regular forecasts and activity reports to sales leadership.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments in target sectors.
- Represent professionally at client meetings, site visits, industry events, and conferences as required
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field), or a closely related discipline.
- 2-5 years of industrial sales experience, preferably in capital equipment, engineered products, or B2B sales to industrial clients (EPC firms, refineries, power plants, petrochemical facilities, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence technical and procurement stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively across a regional territory.
- Willingness and ability to travel regionally (~25% to Southern Louisiana).
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
