Job Description:  
COMPANY OVERVIEW: A leading provider of industrial scaffolding, insulation and other specialty service solutions for turnarounds, capital projects and routine maintenance.

POSITION TITLE: Business Development Manager

COMPENSATION: Competitive base salary DOE + bonus + company vehicle

BENEFITS: Standard package

LOCATION: Tulsa, OK (Cushing focused)  (50% travel)

SUMMARY: This role is focused on increasing sales in tank coating and rehabilitation with both selling and project management experience.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrated ability to develop future business in maintenance, turnarounds, and capital projects
  • Identify, develop and maintain key long term customer relationships while cultivating new industry client contacts . Demonstrated understanding of customer decision makers, strategies, objectives, and drivers
  • Develop and implement customer management / communication plans
  • Maintain intelligence on market conditions, costing, and trends through industry relationships, research, and active engagement in industry associations and events.
  • Identify prospects, key pursuits, and sales strategies that support internal business plans and objectives. Develops presentations, proposals, sales collateral materials, email campaigns, and RFP''s
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer decision makers, strategies, objectives, drivers
  • Ability to effectively negotiate with and influence customers, partners, vendors, and internal staff as required.
  • Able to assume and complete assignments independently
  • Demonstrated ability to measure and seek opportunities to increase existing customer satisfaction




Required Skills:  
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10 + years of sales experience in tank coating/rehabilitation
  • BS/BA in business, marketing or related field experience 
  • Hybrid role - network and contacts and also run projects in the field of coatings and linings
  • Driven, self-starter, hunter/farmer, seller/doer
