POSITION TITLE:  Key Account Manager

SUMMARY: The Key Account Manager will identify, develop and close orders, execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals within a targeted set of growth accounts. .

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sr. Downstream/Process Key Account Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to pursue, develop, and grow key accounts to drive profitable growth and specifically to drive success with corporate level strategic growth opportunities. In this role, the KAM will need to:

  • Call on the oil & gas & chemical segment specifically within the downstream processing (refinery/chemical) value chain throughout the US and Canada.
  • Sell the anchor service/solutions lines which include Asset/Mechanical Integrity, API, Engineering, Maintenance, NDE, Advanced NDE, Access Solutions, and industrial services.
  • Be a strong leader and have experience with forming teams, developing and executing account growth plans, fostering a positive team culture, and servicing as a model and coach for conducting sales activities in a highly professional manner.
  • Have above average to outstanding interpersonal skills, strong ethics, ability to work within a team, to multi-task, possess excellent time management skills and have a strong desire to compete and win.
  • Knowledge of downstream asset integrity and inspection is a key focus as well as general and EPC''s, mechanical contractors/operators and commercial expertise are required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • This position requires post-secondary education in business or marketing, or an equivalent combination of marketing or business experience with a minimum of 8 years sales experience.
  • B2B/industrial sales fundamentals
  • Strategic or key account selling
  • Business acumen, including understanding of customer and project/job economics (P&L, EBITDA, and costing)
  • Principles, techniques, and methods for promoting and selling services.
  • Business development and market research techniques.
