POSITION TITLE: Accounting Manager - Timekeeping and Project Services
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary DOE

LOCATION: Monaca, PA
SUMMARY: Position supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in recording hours of work, submitting time records, compiling timekeeping statics and maintaining timekeeping control records. This position will be assigned to a large construction project. This position will liaise between operations at the project site and timekeeping, corporate payroll, accounts payable, and other project support functions.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee a team of four to six timekeepers and office administrative employees at the job site
Partner with field operations and timekeepers to ensure strict deadline are met
Interpret company policies affecting timekeeping procedures for payroll and billing purposes
Assign duties and examine work of staff for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures.
Led team of timekeepers to submit combined data to payroll and job-cost billing for processing
Determine work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedite workflows
Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workflows
Serve as point of contact for all accounting related matters at the site and ensure service level agreements are maintained
Provide audit support of payroll/timekeeping documentation to internal/external auditors
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years experience in payroll or timekeeping or 5+ years experience in general accounting working with a high volume of payroll processing and reporting.
Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or related field preferred. CPP (payroll certification) a plus
Must demonstrate excellent customer service responsiveness
Ability to resolve issues while maintaining good relationships
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with all levels of
High attention to detail and ability to proof schedules and documents
Must have excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, self motivated
Demonstrate leadership and ability to handle multiple, competing priorities on individual and team assignments
Must have Intermediate to advance skill level in Excel
