Job Description:  

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Chocolate Making: Assist the Chocolatier in the daily production to achieve output requirements
    • Responsible for kitchen production in accordance with our prescribed recipes and cooking methods
    • Duties include cooking, prepping, cutting, mixing, picking, decorating, and packing
    • Ensure all chocolate produced meets our quality standards for size, shape, coverage, etc.
    • Ensure all finished chocolate bins are properly labeled and dated for accurate recordkeeping
    • Bring all finished chocolate to their respective areas for proper storage
  • Machine Operations: Set up, maintain and clean the chocolate machines as required
    • Set up the machines each day to prepare for production, in accordance with prescribed procedures
    • Monitor and maintain standards for temperature control, belt speeds, flames, etc.
    • Diligently follow all safety protocols, in accordance with prescribed procedures
    • Alert the Chocolatier in case of any irregularities
    • Ensure all machines are cleaned and maintained as required
  • Quality Control: Responsible for meeting quality standards
    • Become knowledge about our products, ingredients and processes
    • Ensure all chocolate produced meets our quality and brand standards
    • Ensure your working environment is clean, safe and hygienic at all times
    • Alert the Chocolatier regarding any potential irregularities or concerns
  • Team Player: Be a reliable key member of our kitchen team
    • Bring a great attitude and a strong work ethic into the kitchen
    • Be a team player with a can-do approach to get the job done on time and in full
    • Be responsible to your team members
