COMPANY OVERVIEW: A leading industrial and environmental services company providing services to the refining and petrochemical industries

SUMMARY: This individual will be the top sales producer within the company, managing all corporate relationships. Responsible for directly developing and growing senior level relationships at a corporate level and at the local plant operations level (80% of time will be focused on individual revenue generating opportunities). Responsible for providing leadership and driving strategy across the company''s sales functions by developing and implementing strategic initiatives, as well as monitoring the team performance to ensure desired goals and targets are met and/or exceeded. 

Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability both short and long term
Develops personal action plan to penetrate new markets
Maintains key customer relationships while developing and implementing strategies for expanding the company''s customer base 
Secure strategic agreements with priority target clients and maintain detailed client records and account plans for key accounts
Coordinate bid and proposal activity in assigned  accounts,  including  pre-qualification  forms, Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals (RFIs and RFPs)
Participate in industry trade shows and technical conferences as required
Coordinate other company resources (marketing, operations administrative) in pursuit of new clients business
Responsible for the performance and development of the sales team
Maintain familiarity and knowledge of key company service and technology, strategic initiatives, safety and operations programs and business development practices and procedures
Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed 
Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert for all sales and marketing solutions, working cross-functionally as necessary to ensure desired outcomes are met
Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines 

Required Skills:  

10+ years minimum experience selling industrial services to the refining, petrochemical, and chemical industries.
Minimum of 5 years'' experience selling at a corporate / national accounts level 
Must have a successful track record of acquiring new accounts, expanding existing accounts, exceeding sales goals and meeting quotas and setting qualified appointments with C-level executives
10 years'' experience managing an industrial sales organization generating $100M+ of annual revenue
Must have strong book of contacts in the refining and petrochem industries and must possess solid understanding of the market in order to educate company operations and marketing personnel
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management
Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
Ability to think strategically based on knowledge of client''s business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships with all levels of client organizations from executive to field level
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.)
Bachelor''s degree preferred
