Venue: Outpatient + weekend rotation in Inpatient Acute
FTE: Full-time
Will float between Sandy, UT and Midvale, UT clinics
30 - 40 hours per week
*Manual skills helpful; Ortho sports med experience a plus

PTA - Description
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA/LPTA), under the clinical supervision of a Physical Therapist, performs therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position''s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. The PTA/LPTA functions in accordance with their State Practice Act.
PTA - Requirements
Graduate of an APTA approved Physical Therapy Assistant program
- PTA license to practice in the state or board eligible
- Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment necessary in providing physical therapy.
- must demonstrate competency in identified areas of specialization, including training for age specific groups; competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment necessary in providing physical therapy.
- must understand and follow policies and procedures of the department and demonstrate compliance with accreditation and regulatory compliance requirements.
