Job Description:  

COMPANY OVERVIEW: Provides customers with effective, efficient, ecological solutions to all their liquid & solid temporary storage, pumping and filtration needs. Offering one of the broadest ranges of containment equipment in the industry accompanied with an assortment of pumps, filtration units and waste hauling services.

 

POSITION TITLE: REGIONAL MANAGER

 

COMPENSATION: $110,000-$120,000 +bonus + tools for success

 

BENEFITS: full benefits package

 

LOCATION: Open to IL, NY, PA, GA, AL, TN, CA - Near a current office

 

SUMMARY: The primary focus of this position is to oversee and be responsible for the success of the sales, operations and profitability functions of their regional branches. They will work with both Branch Leadership and Division SVP to develop plans to implement ideas to increase safety and profitability within their regions.

 

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive Sales, Profitability and Margin Growth

  • Responsible to drive sales and profit plans through successful leadership and execution of all branch operations strategies

  • Gain insights and manage Region by effectively using sales reports, reviewing and analyzing branch results and developing specific actions related to business development and growth

  • Accountable to ensure that trends of underperformance are formally addressed, with clear and documented performance improvement plans

  • Execute and coach sales strategies and help the branches establish relationships with key and potential customers with the branch's area.

 

Operations

  • Manage Branch Leadership teams toward acceptable safety and profitability goals

  • Develop overall Damage and Repair procedures and establish expected revenue return

  • Works with Divisional SVPs to establish Branch level financial expectations and works with Branch

  • Leadership to develop and implement plans to achieve and exceed these expectations

  • Conduct site visits to ensure safety, profitability and sales strategies are being effectively utilized

 

Leadership

  • Establish a process to ensure that branches have accountability to defined expectations on a consistent and timely basis

  • Ensure the overall people/staffing plan of the region reflects high performance, bench and succession planning, as well as, consistent mentoring and employee development

  • Responsible to consistently and effectively communicate Mobile Mini objectives to all Branch Leadership teams

  • Other Duties as assigned



Required Skills:  

Experience/Education

  • Bachelor degree required

  • 5 Years of operations management experience. Multi-site experience preferred

  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite, including Excel

  • Ability to multi-task effectively

  • 5 years of Sales, sales training and sales coaching preferred

  • Exposure to DOT, OSHA and state specific safety regulations

  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, strategic thinking, organization and accuracy

  • Communicate clearly: verbal and written

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Overnight travel up to 70% of the time

Supervisory experience is a must as responsibility includes multiple Branch Managers (Direct reports) and branch employees (Indirect reports)
