COMPANY OVERVIEW: A full service scaffolding comtractor servicing all industrial complexes in the Houston/Galveston area.


POSITION TITLE: Project Manager - on site 90% of the time


COMPENSATION: $75,000.00 + performance bonus opportunity

SUMMARY: The Project Manager will schedule all equipment and personnel for the assigned contract and geographical area. The PM positively interacts with current team members, future team members, customers and vendors to promote “Safety Now” and build business relationships for current and future projects.



  • Develops schedules and planning of equipment locations for 50 personnel in the field for pretrochemical, chemical and/or processing environments.

  • Leads, directs, supports, and assists team members to perform at the highest level

  • Maintains accurate scheduling and planning records for both equipment and personnel for the project, including signing off on delivery of equipment and labor hours worked

  • Promotes a continued safe and positive work environment where team members have a respect for each other and a safe work environment in which to perform.

  • Work and be seen in the field to lead by example, promote safety and support the employees in successfully performing their jobs.

  • Safety and safety training - Utilizes modern learning, motivational, and mentoring techniques to promote a zero tolerance for near misses and injuries.  Where necessary, may take the appropriate corrective action to correct performance deficiencies.

  • Complies with all municipal, state and federal laws and regulations to include OSHA, EPA, Wage and Hour Laws, and Labor Laws
  • With the assistance of the Human Resources team members, will recruit, select and hire appropriate and qualified staff for the project.

Required Skills:  


  • 5 years of scaffolding scheduling and planning experience in the industrial environment, specifically petrochemical, chemical, and processing units
  • Excellent customer service skills to develop strong working relationships with clients and company employees - including strong follow up skills
  • Strong people skills for team building
  • Possess character traits to include - integrity, lead by example, positive, hands on, and be a problem solver
  • Computer literate and able to utilize texting on a cell phone
