POSITION TITLE:  Recruiting Manager

 

COMPENSATION:  $70K - $90K base salary + commission + vehicle allowance

 

BENEFITS: Full benefits package

 

LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL.

 

REPORTING RELTIONSHIP: President

 

SUMMARY: The Recruiting Manager will oversee all recruiting for all Divisions in our branches, corporate office and sales.  This role understands and has appreciation for the contribution of each and every employee to the organization and has the enthusiasm to drive execution of company's vision and core principles through the recruiting strategy.

 

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Company Recruiting Strategy - With a focus on supporting the business as it grows; evaluate, design, implement, and monitor our talent acquisition processes to ensure the most effective and efficient methodologies are in place for a successful hire.  Advise senior leadership on all aspects of recruitment, attraction, and retention strategies, including the impact of salary, short and long term incentives, benefits, and internal / external perception on employee engagement and retention.
  • Drive Department-Specific Recruiting Strategies - Collaborate closely with each department leader to understand department needs and drive hiring of key positions to address those needs.  Recruit and assist in closing select senior positions.  
  • Organizational Management and Staff Development - Manage organizational development of staffing team.  Act as a mentor and resource for Recruiting on all recruiting, management, employee relations, and other matters.  Celebrate team's successes, identify opportunities, and provide candid, helpful feedback where improvement is needed.  Supervise Recruiting and evaluate quality and quantity of work and performance.
  • Manage Applicant Tracking System and Career Website - Oversee the management, refinement, and improvement of our applicant tracking system.   Introduce and develop new mobile platforms to accommodate growing hiring needs and audience.
  • Develop and Maintain College Recruiting and Emerging Leaders Program - Drive a stronger relationship with universities, apprentice programs and community.
  • Oversee Staffing Metrics and Budget - In collaboration with internal business partners, establish, measure, and report a set of metrics to align with performance objectives.  Oversee annual budget.
  • Develop and Maintain Social Media Presence - Assess current presence on the various social media platforms and work to establish and maintain a more robust presence.
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Skills:  

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Job Qualifications - Education and Experience

8+ years of progressive staffing management experience in a related field required

Staffing management experience within the refining and petrochemical industries a must!

Undergraduate degree in psychology, economics, or other business-related discipline strongly preferred

  • Must have multi-state, industrial recruiting experience with significant non-exempt populations

Experience working in a high volume recruiting environment focused on craft and industrial placements

Strong working knowledge of recruiting-related employment laws and best practices

Experience opening new locations and building local recruitment and hiring processes preferred

Excellent and creative sourcing skills, particularly for high volume positions and specialty skill/niche positions; social media savvy

Demonstrated ability to understand customers' business units, help businesses meet goals, and become a trusted business partner

Highly organized with an emphasis on accuracy, detail, and timeliness
