Almac is currently hiring Production Coordinators to work 3rd Shift.  The Coordinator will oversee production personnel, perform, and inspect operations at Almac Clinical Services relevant to the packaging area ensuring that quality is maintained in products for the safety, well being, and protection of the patient. 

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Accept and perform leadership role while in packaging rooms.
  • Perform and ensure that routine cleaning of Almac Clinical Services equipment and packaging rooms are performed according to the appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's).
  • Ensure that all appropriate Log Books are completed per Almac Clinical Services SOP's.
  • Receive and verify correct issue of input material, tooling, and labels into production operations.
  • Organize layout of production operations to ensure efficient and secure processing relative to the written requirements.
  • Read aloud appropriate packaging instructions and information relating to the operation to all team members.
  • Package material as detailed in the batch document while in accordance with Almac Clinical Services SOP's and cGMP's.
  • Perform daily In-Process inspections in accordance with all cGMP's and SOP's.
  • When required, count and record materials required for use in the packaging operation.
  • Perform daily In-Process inspections.
  • Perform reconciliation of material/labels used during an operation and ensure all material is returned to the warehouse upon job completion.
  • Achieve a thorough understanding of all relevant policies, procedures, and SOPs within Almac Clinical Services.
  • Maintain operational efficiency to ensure scheduled customer target dates are met and that batch records are completed properly for dispatch at completion of job operation.
  • Fully understand and adhere to instructions as detailed in the relevant documentation per SOP's.
  • Train operators and evaluate performance for on-line packaging activities as instructed by the supervisor and in accordance with the training manual.
  • Undertake additional duties of specific projects designated by supervisory/management staff, in conjunction with normal Production Operator duties.
  • Maintain effective control of the production personnel.
  • Ensure operators are working efficiently while maintaining quality within the product.
  • Complete applicable sections of the batch documentation and other related job documentation.
  • Communicate to Production Coordinators/Supervisors about room activity and progress/inefficiencies.

Required Skills:  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2 year degree preferred. 
  • Production environment experience required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous Pharmaceutical Packaging experience desired; Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry (cGMP's and SOP's) preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Able to meet vision policy requirements.
  • Ability to work w/numbers and to create written documentation.
  • Ability to work w/others and to give instruction and direction.
  • Ability to maintain proper working schedule.
  • Ability to work past scheduled hours and some weekends preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime and shifts preferred.


The hours for this shift are Sunday through Thursday from 11:00pm to 7:10am
