- Coordinate system development tasks to include design, integration and formal testing
- Oversees all transitions into production
- Research and develop solutions to new or unknown issues
- Develop and complete actions in system specifications, technical and logistical requirements and communication
- Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution of system functions
- Manage and document system configuration
- Assess advanced problems and work closely with system administrators as a Tier 3 support resource
- Work with vendors and service providers on infrastructure support needs

- College degree or relevant certifications
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- 5+ years of experience working with network hardware and software
- 3+ years of Tier 1 and Tier 2 support
- 3+ years of experience working with Cisco switches and routers
- Proficiency with LAN/WAN design, configuration and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Windows enterprise networks including AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Exchange Server
- Experience in using VBScript, DOS batch, MSI scripting to automate the deployment of update packages and applications
- Familiarity with a Help Desk Support model (SpiceWorks)
- Must be capable of working outside of standard business hours when needed and available.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain corrective procedures to both technical and non-technical users
- Ability to handle changing priorities in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to manage several working projects at the same time; good time management
- Responsiveness and attention to detail
- Works well under pressure and in time-critical situation; establish and maintain good working relationships in various groups within the company.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively to achieve goals
- Actively identify and share best practices and process improvements
- Ability to support remote offices with occasional travel
