Job Description:  
COMPANY OVERVIEW:  An innovative leader in providing composite solutions utilized in repairing and reinforcing critical piping and related infrastructure with cost effective, easy to install products. This client services industries from downstream, refineries, petrochemical plants, midstream gathering, processing & transportation assets, upstream field operations, power generating facilities (natural gas, coal, nuclear), mines and related process facilities, pulp and paper mills, offshore/marine operators and a variety of other facilities where pipes and vessels carry or process a wide variety of fluids and gases under pressure or other environmental conditions that are the causes of corrosion (internal and external), wall loss and ultimately, leaks.

POSITION TITLE: Regional Sales Manager

 50% (Either Central United States or Southeast United States)

 Sales driven and energetic style is needed to succeed, and the position is guided by individual and company sales goals and compensated accordingly. This position is responsible for the development, coordination, and expansion of direct and indirect sales in an assigned group of accounts & territory. Must be analytical, have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication (both written and verbal), strong technical skills in the field of composites, and the ability to learn details of new products quickly and thoroughly.

Required Skills:  

Essential Functions:  

  • Lead accounts within assigned territories.
  • Develop customer relationships within assigned customers/territory, gaining an understanding of customers business requirements, and proactively developing solutions and programs to meet those needs.
  • Leverage company''s defined sales process to build accounts and utilize the company''s CRM system for maintenance and development of prospects, customers, opportunities, quotes, and sales activities. Meet/exceed annual sales quota for assigned customers and territory.
  • Become a leader in upstream, midstream, downstream, and integrity issues and maintenance processes in all areas of company''s products.
  • Willingness to spend 80% of time outside of the office and with customers and developing new business.

Competencies, Skills and Abilities:

  • Thoroughly proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Well-balanced interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to take direction from Managers; keep required work schedules, which include regular and predictable job attendance; attention to details.
  • High-functioning organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Problem solver with the ability to find resolutions and seek sound business decisions.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and/or direction.
  • Flexible and able to work effectively in a team environment and consistently maintain a professional and respectful demeanor/attitude with co-workers, clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.


  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years outside sales and territory leadership experience in the Energy Industry or Refinery Chemical area familiar with composite applications.
  • The successful candidate will be organized and have a bachelor''s degree in a science, engineering, technical, or business discipline.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (preferred).
  • Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
