Job Description:  
OMAP is an exciting, new architecture for 3G wireless and multimedia markets. We need Wireless Embedded Systems Software Engineers to build the software infrastructure to support this OMAP Product. Work closely with marketing, field applications engineers, external system integrator partners, and value-added software developers to source, develop and demonstrate system solutions for wireless end-user devices. Provide support on OMAP products, development tools and algorithms that add direct value to users of OMAP. Design, develop and debug middleware and low-level hardware drivers and assist in board-level debug of OS porting layer and driver software. Assist in ARM and DSP tools integration and debug. Help design, develop and debug a multi-processor interface for the low-level communication between processors in a heterogeneous multi-processor environment. Develop product documentation and presentations for customer training and support.

Required Skills:  
A BSCS/CE degree, self-motivation, strong teaming skills, customer interaction capability, 3-5 years embedded system software design, a tie-die shirt, knowledge of hardware-level debug, 'C' and assembly languages. Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills are required. It is also desirable that you have knowledge of C+, DSP and wireless, be familiar with operating systems such as EPOC, DSP/BIOS, and any Code Composer Studio experience is a plus.
