COMPANY OVERVIEW:  A leading provider of industrial services and repair services. 
POSITION TITLE: Business Development Representative
Competitive Salary DOE + Commission

LOCATION: Corpus Christi, TX

This individual will be responsible for building new sales through contractors and owners in the refinery, chemical, bulk storage, gas processing and industrial facilities.

New sales and service to Contractors and Facility Owners. 
Coordinate with inside sales and operations to fulfill orders. 
Develop maximum sales potential out of assigned territory through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of the company''s products and services as well as the competition''s strengths/weaknesses.
Build and maintain quality relations with existing assigned accounts and increase account base and volume of sales on a consistent basis.
Contact customers via telephone, correspondence or in person by traveling as frequently as necessary to meet and surpass profitable sales goals for the company.
Reevaluate work on an ongoing basis to increase market share.
Assess quality of offerings and develop opinion reports on strategies to increase the company''s market share.
Stay abreast of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings, and new technologies through available resources.
Utilize company leads to expand current customer base and follow up all leads promptly.
Maintain updated, organized files on all accounts in assigned territory.
Provide information and/or follow up on customer
Complete quotes and present to customers.

Required Skills:  
5+ years of experience in oil and gas industry required.
5+ years experience in outside sales.
Proven ability to build relationships.
Relationships with local mechanical contractors (Bay, Turner, Repcon, etc) is beneficial.
Relationships with key facility owners (Flint Hills, Valero, Citgo, Oxy, etc) is helpful.
Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to conduct presentations for small groups.
Knowledge of industrial tools and supplies and their use in the industrial market.
Working knowledge of refineries, chemical plants and industrial facilities in South Texas.
Ability to sell on value and achieve target gross margin.
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to timely customer service.
Strong computer skills as well as excellent organizational skills.
Results driven and customer focused.
Bachelor''s Degree Preferred
