Job Description:  

COMPANY OVERVIEW: Full-service Engineering, Procurement and Construction company
POSITION TITLE: Project Director/Sr. Project manager/Project Manager
BENEFITS: Standard Package

COMPENSATION: $150- 225K base salary + company vehicle

TRAVEL: Day travel to sites and office

LOCATION: Houston, TX

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsible for project estimating, project oversight, developing and maintaining customer relationships, achieving top safety performance, and building and maintaining company-established profitability performance


DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Firmly establish and embrace the Company Culture grounded with complete and timely Execution.
  • Directly responsible for Owner Contract Management
  • Directly responsible for all Project Procurement Activities
  • Assist with Project Controls & Schedule Development and Maintenance
  • Coordinate and Assist the Project Engineer/Quality Department in the development of turnover Books
  • Directly Responsible for assigned Estimates
  • Provide effective leadership to ensure and maintain a positive working relationship and flow of information between the Site Execution Team and the Corporate Office support staff.
  • Contribute to recruitment and development of future company leaders as quality candidates by identifying the "best of the best" in our industry including best practices, policies and procedures.
  • Assist with business development efforts and communicate results to the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, Project Management.Assistance to include marketing, market intelligence, client development, contact organization and updates, and other business development activities.
  • Develop key subcontractor and vendor relationships to provide Summit with a competitive advantage on current and future projects.
  • Timely review and approval of all subcontractor and vendor invoices to ensure payment within contract terms.
  • Oversight of HSE and Quality programs.
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with owners, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Regular attendance at project owner and engineer meetings.
  • Successfully execute Accountability Scorecards per MBO:HSE Program, Quality Program, and Operations.
  • Execution of pre-established quarterly Priorities and MBO''s.
  • Assist VP, Project Management and VP, Construction with jobsite staffing and personnel including maintaining and communicating clear staff assignments, detailed job descriptions and clear lines of responsibilities and expectations.
