Regional Sales Manager

Mississippi Delta Region
This position supports the company''s mission by meeting the sales revenue and profitability targets, maintenance of existing client relationships, and establishment of new client relationships. The Sales manager is required to lead by example by working with others who are in leadership positions and effectively execute responsibilities while enhancing the company''s core values. Their territory is the Mississippi Delta Region, consisting of NW FL, AL, MS, LA, and Northern LA (Haynesville Shale). Associate can reside anywhere in territory that allows for easy access to territory and clients.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Suggest new products which fit our company profile or needs of clients in relation to Testing and all service lines
Build and maintain outstanding customer relationships.
Maintain rapport with key customers by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs, and resolving problems
Has active participation in past due collections.
Obtain sales volume by working according to sales policy, objectives, and pricing; assigned customers; quotas; and negotiated contracts.
Prepare project estimates and proposals.
Sets up and makes presentations (with support from Director of Sales)
Coordinate with operations, sales team, and customer towards the successful preparation and execution of projects.
Creates pull through work and cross sales all of product lines.
Cultivate market intelligence by reporting business opportunities, results, trends, and competitive information.
Support operations as required - by working with technicians, developing or reviewing procedures, and participating as field support/technician when required.
Work closely with others in organization to effectively learn and sell services.
Contribute to team effort by offering information and opinion as a member of organization and accomplishing related results as needed.
Participate in weekly sales and scheduling meetings
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum five years of concentrated industry experience in the drilling, downhole industry and or midstream mechanical industry.
A High school diploma/GED.
Minimum Five years of outside industrial service-related sales experience including estimate/proposal preparation and cold calling.
Strong understanding of Down hole technologies with existing clientele base.
Ability to penetrate new markets for all services Testing, Mechanical and Corrosion.
Ability to sell mechanical and corrosion services to the midstream market
Strong PC skills including experience with MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint software.
Utilization of CRM/Microsoft Dynamics. All weekly client activity regarding Client correspondence, RFQ''s, entertainment, and upcoming projects shall be recorded in CRM/Microsoft Dynamics.
50% travel, overnight travel required
