DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify target clients, size opportunities and prioritize sales development within assigned territory for in/out-of-service API 653 services including robotic inspections of above ground storage tanks.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of value propositions for individual service lines and effectively communicate to prospective clients.
Collaborate with key stakeholders in developing market-based pricing strategies/schemes that reflect value delivered while maximizing return on investment.
Perform job walks when necessary, prepare job estimations and quotes, and, support all related customer service functions before, during and after project completion.
Insure full implementation of the company''s CRM program within assigned territory.
Participate in enterprise-wide sales training programs including, but not limited to, product knowledge, value-based selling skills and leadership development.
Employ analytics as appropriate to measure sales effectiveness and report outcomes to key stakeholders including operational and business unit leadership.
Promote new product development initiatives in collaboration with business unit leadership.
Collaborate with business unit leadership in development of annual budget to include revenue and earnings targets for key service lines by key customer, respectively.
Monitor quality of high-value project deliverables including final reports and related engineering assessments.
Participate in industry committees, conferences and exhibits as prioritized and appropriate.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years in tank inspection, assessment and engineering sales with a proven track record preferred.
Would also consider a strong sales record from other products or services within the above ground storage tank industry.
Must be self-motivated and have a winning attitude.
A technical understanding of AST related inspection, assessment and engineering regulations, standards and guidelines is preferred.
Willingness to comply with all random and scheduled drug testing.
Must be able to pass background check.
Must be able to pass company and customer safety training to gain access to customers facilities.
Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, vendors and customers.
Must be willing to travel by air when needed (approximately 30% travel by air).
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Must have familiarity with all Office suite products
Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent experience in the above ground storage tank (AST) industry.
