SUMMARY:
Project Manager is accountable for revenue and corresponding profit and loss relating to business for specified projects. They will directly supervise a variety of personnel and carry out supervisory duties in accordance with the company''s policies and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
3+ years industrial and/or construction project management experience.
•
Coordinate project timeline planning, design, procurement, installation, permitting and turnover of equipment rental and other multi-phase projects.
•
Provide leadership to assure customer satisfaction and maintain job profitability.
•
Act as the direct line of communication with customer representatives from time of sale order entry until project completion.
•
Timely communicate baseline project schedule vs actual schedule dates.
•
Timely communicate baseline project budgets vs actual costs.
•
Coordinate detailed design with in-house engineers and subcontracted engineers.
•
Coordinate procurement including PO and/or subcontract negotiation, placement of orders, delivery follow-up and payment approval to suppliers and/or subcontractors.
•
Coordinate installation utilizing company''s HSE and service personnel. Coordination includes subcontracted labor and equipment as needed for timely completion.
•
Coordinate all aspects of permitting required in the jurisdictions in which work is performed.
•
Maintain documentation of project files.
Required Skills:
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
•
Requires knowledge of and experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Customer Relations Management (CRM) packages and standard office equipment.
•
Excellent oral and written communications skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with external customers and the internal team.
•
Requires knowledge of common project management applications including 2D/3D CAD viewers, project timeline software and cost-accounting methods.
•
Bachelor''s degree, or equivalent, in engineering, sales/marketing or business-related field.
•
Requires a current and valid driver''s license and a driving record indicating a history of safe and lawful vehicle operation.
