Job Description:  
COMPANY OVERVIEW: Premiere industrial distributor of large specialized products.
POSITION TITLE: Outside Sales Rep
COMPENSATION: competitive salary + commission
BENEFITS: Standard package
LOCATION: Houston, TX (50% travel)
SUMMARY: Responsible for selling services in the Gulf coast region and US.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospect sales leads, call on potential customers, and enhance relationships with current clients in order to sell permanent equipment and maintenance services consistent with branch revenue and profitability goals.
Timely prepare proposals and cost estimates based on an understanding of customer needs and information (blueprints, plans, specifications, etc).
Prepare and present proposals to customers in a clear and convincing manner while answering questions and/or objections to secure the sale.
Negotiate acceptable terms and conditions of sales.
Coordinate the sale, delivery and installation/maintenance of equipment; provide leadership to assure customer satisfaction and maintain job profitability.
Maintain documentation of sales activities, customer contacts, and related expenses.
Other duties as assigned.



Required Skills:  
 EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
5-10 years TECHNICAL SALES experience - selling products/services (products are capital equipment products) to Owners and EPC firms 
MUST have contacts in the Power/Refining/Chemical industries-selling at plant level (engineering and maintenance departments)
Bachelor degree (preferred) in engineering, sales/marketing or business related field
Requires knowledge of and experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM packages
Travel 50% (gulf coast and US depending on level of established contacts)
Requires a current and valid driver''s license and a driving record indicating a history of safe and lawful vehicle operation
