POSITION TITLE: District Manager
COMPENSATION: Competitive base salary DOE
BENEFITS: Standard package
LOCATION: Houston, TX
SUMMARY: The position will work closely with project managers and project controls, and will be responsible for forecasting, managing a budget, and making necessary adjustments to job scope to ensure that the job is profitable.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Corresponds with Project Managers and the customer as necessary to complete projects.
Responsible for the growth of the business through strategic planning, partnering with sales and management.
Responsible for assuring adequate staffing based on the needs of operations.
Full responsibility in managing Greater Houston Area P&L.
Represent the company in a manner consistent with the company''s core values.
Monitor the utilization and distribution of man power and ensure the equipment inventory is properly maintained and replenished.
Monitor material procurement to ensure project schedules are not adversely impacted, as well as, procure and manage the equipment/tools needed for the project.
Oversee the execution of project objectives, company policies, procedures and performance standards of all field personnel.
Plan, organize and staff field positions to accommodate the specific project requirements; working with the Project Managers to determine needs
Enforce company safety standards.
Assist in job estimates and proposal writing.
Serve as company representative and point of contact for operations in the region.
Oversee, direct and advise all asset management, training, and operations.
Develops, manages and implements project plans of different degrees of complexity, which includes defining project deliverables, scope, milestones, budget, scheduling and contingency plans for each phase of the project.
Embrace Safety culture, ensure entire team is promoting and acting safely in everything they do.
Ensures bid documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
+ years'' experience in the specialty contracting business as a Project/Operations Manager
Experienced in Business Development, Supply Chain Management, and Contract Negotiations
Must have excellent computer skills and strong communication skills
Bachelor''s degree in engineering, construction management, or another technical field preferred
