COMPANY OVERVIEW: A leading designer and manufacturer of specialty machining tools and provider of onsite field machining and welding services.
POSITION TITLE: Senior Director of Field Services
COMPENSATION: Competitive base salary DOE + bonus
BENEFITS: Standard package
LOCATION: Sacramento, CA (paid relocation available)
SUMMARY: The Senior Director of Field Services will act as the senior leader for field construction and maintenance operations for industrial and power generation market operations. Services operations includes field machining, welding, and specialty services in industrial construction environments of:
Power Generation (nuclear, fossil, hydro and renewables)
Oil & Gas (upstream, midstream and downstream markets)
Heavy Industrial (construction and maintenance markets)
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly responsible for leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of all industrial and power generation market service activities, operations, and staff.
Responsible for account development, team development initiatives, processes / process flows, and business development while working in conjunction with the sales department in both union and non-union environments.
Implement and ensure best practice methodologies and programs to support; safety, human performance, and profitability
Deliver high performance standards with excellence in customer service
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
15+ years in project based industrial construction services; preferably in on-site machining and welding with 5 years of direct experience in contract based services in a large industrial or energy industry (Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Hydroelectric)
5+ years in an operations management role
5+ years in creating/managing quotes, contracts, and budgets
Federal Contract experience Highly Desired.
Must have knowledge and experience in conducting Risk Assessments related to business and finance
Knowledge and Experience with ERP software
Must hold or meet current requirements to obtain Contractors Licenses: California C-34, Nevada A20 and the capability to become current in these and other states as directed.
Must be able to gain secure access for nuclear, military, and government sites
Union experience a huge plus!
Must be able to travel a minimum of 50%
Bachelor''s Degree required in a related field of Engineering, Construction/Business Management, or Finance.
