Job Description:  

COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client is a full-service engineering, procurement and construction company operating with current licenses and registrations in over 35 states.

POSITION TITLE: Project Manager

COMPENSATION: Competitive base salary DOE + bonus

BENEFITS: Standard package

LOCATION: Houston based- nationwide clientele base (up to 30% travel)

SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, managing and executing all aspects of significantly complex or multiple projects. This position will be responsible for managing the team, planning all construction sequencing and meeting project goals to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project. This position will be based in the Houston office and will service the midstream, energy, and chemical sectors nationwide. This individual will be integral to the development and growth of the business.


DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the development and assembly of Work Packages with Superintendent  and Site Manager. 
•Filing system set-up and maintenance, establishing/maintaining/monitoring document control logs (i.e. drawings, specs, RFI''s, and shop drawings).
•Quantity surveying, quantity review and data input.
•Responsible for supporting development and implementation of change management process with Project Engineer and Project manager. 
•Identifying and resolving field technical issues 
•Assisting with project close out, involved in coordination of documentation deficiencies, warranties, maintenance and final payments. 
•Ensures materials are procured and delivered as required to meet the schedule.
•Assists with Materials Management



Required Skills:  
  • EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    𔅛 7 years of increasing management responsibility in an industrial construction or EPC organization.
    •P&L experience of $50M+ with the ability to develop, manage and oversees key financial components (e.g., financial plans, budgets, forecasts) for assigned scope of responsibility to minimize risk and variance, and maximize contributions to company revenue and margin.
    •Must have experience and knowledge with EPC and industrial construction services, including business development / client management, estimating, and project management / project execution
    •Proven history of leading business unit(s) with strong safety performance (e.g. low lost time/incident rates). 
    •Thorough knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project.
    •Thorough knowledge of construction, design, finance and project management.
    •Ability to build relationships with team members that transcend a project.
    •Ability to apply fundamentals of the means and methods of construction management to projects.
    •Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills; good computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
    •Bachelor''s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred), in lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
