POSITION TITLE: Hiring Center Manager

COMPENSATION: $90K - $100K salary DOE

BENEFITS: Standard package

LOCATION: Baton Rouge/New Orleans Area

SUMMARY: The Hiring Center Manager is responsible for the sourcing, assessment, and assignment of craft labor personnel resources to the different clients in the greater Houston area.  

Manage the day-to-day recruiting needs by leading staffing team (8-12 recruiters, administrative and support staff) in reviewing profiles, screening and interviewing applicants and matching qualified candidates to jobs utilizing recruiting best practices and company-established guidelines.
Proactively manage, develop and collaborate with leadership to implement recruitment strategies designed to identify and target resources in designated local markets for specific needs, as well as building strategic pipelines to maintain appropriate staffing levels for each specific classification.
Develop, educate and train hiring center staff to perform competently by providing consistent and ongoing leadership, training and feedback in a high-volume environment.
Manage, develop and anticipate recruiting metrics on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis to include turnover, source of hire, referrals, cost per hire, etc. using the current management system.
Manage, develop, and leverage appropriate sourcing strategies (i.e. advertising, career fairs, networking, etc.) to ensure a consistent flow of interested qualified candidates.  Develops a robust candidate pipeline while building and maintaining a strong referral network.
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.  
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their true respect. In this case ‚ÄúCustomer‚ÄĚ is defined as internal operations management staff.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner by using logic and proposes methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
Observes safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action beyond guidelines. Reports potentially unsafe conditions. Uses equipment and materials properly.
Responds quickly to employee related conflicts.  Exhibits good listening skills. Able to find common ground and get cooperation with craft labor employees and operations management.
Balances team and individual responsibilities. Exhibits objectivity and openness to other views. Contributes to building a positive team spirit. Puts success of team above own interest. Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
Can utilize resources to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently. Demonstrates the ability to effectively multi-task.  Arranges information and files in a useful manner.
Accurately predicts duration and complexity of tasks and projects. Sets objectives and goals. Anticipates and adjusts for problems and roadblocks. Measures performance against goals, and evaluates results.

Required Skills:  
10+ years of experience in talent acquisition (volume hiring, staffing and/or recruiting) within the construction/industrial industry with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership/management role. 
Bachelor''s degree in a related field preferred but not required. Must have working knowledge of federal, state and local regulations regarding labor and employment laws ensuring compliance with company policies.
Requires excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.  
Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, applicant tracking/management systems with experience us, utilizing recruiting resources such as job postings, job site aggregators and job distribution tools.
