We are a Growing Medicare Home Health Agency who are looking to add a dynamic Director of QA/Clinical Training Registered Nurse to our Team. Our QA Director ensures that our Clinicians are complying with quality and service and will also be responsible for education, medical record audits and work closely with our Leaders and Clinical Teams. Candidates will need a high level of Knowledge and understanding of Medicare Home Healthcare and OASIS to be considered for this role.

Required Skills:  

-Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
-Three to five (3-5) years of experience in nursing.
-Two (2) years experience in home health nursing.
-Two (2) years in a Home Health QA and Education role
-High level of Knowledge and understanding of Medicare Home Healthcare and OASIS.

-Acceptance of philosophy and goals of Agency.
-Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
-Ability to work with individuals to enlist cooperation of many people to perform/achieve a common goal.

Responsibilities:
-Participates in developing standards which ensure safe and therapeutically effective service to patients and families. Has joint responsibility with the Director of Clinical Services for seeing that standards are met. 
-Participates in developing clinical training objectives and benchmarks for Agency. 
-Is responsible for seeing that objectives are implemented. 
-Consults with the Director of Clinical Services and Administrator to determine a staffing pattern which will accomplish stated objectives and promote maximum level of utilization of health personnel. 
-Prepares and implements the orientation of new employees. Conducts selected orientation classes. Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures. 
-Displays a willingness to support the policies and procedures and uses appropriate channels for change of such policies when planning the educational needs of staff; provides education to maintain compliance with current policies and procedures which meet Medicare, Medicaid, accrediting bodies, state, etc. laws and implements such; provides feedback for revisions when needs identified. 
-Provides education to the clinical staff regarding the functions and qualifications for each service position and the need to coordinate care and communication among the interdisciplinary team services: a. Assures ongoing assessment of patient/family needs and implementation of interdisciplinary team plan of care. b. Assures physician approval of plans for continuity of medical care. c. Provides individual or group support concerning job related stress or issues. 
-Understands and promotes principles of continuous performance improvement and quality assurance; oversees Agency Performance Improvement (PI) Plan.  Completes and submits required reports to meet PI/QI/QA reporting requirements.   
-Participates in coordinating Agency''s services with services of other community agencies to meet the obligations of the emergency management plan. 
-Responsible for the orientation of new staff to Agency''s PI program. 
-Works with Director of Clinical Services and Administrator in identifying budgetary needs and allocations.
